AASA and Pricedex
Partner to Bring Customer e-Matrix Online
Pricedex Software Inc., the aftermarket’s leading Product Information
Management (PIM) solution provider, and the Automotive Aftermarket
Suppliers Association (AASA), the exclusive manufacturer association
providing leadership in the global automotive aftermarket, recently
signed an agreement creating an online customer e-commerce matrix
for members.
Under the agreement, Pricedex will provide its technology and hosting
services to the members of the MEMA Information Services Council
(MIS Council), a peer council of IT/IS/E-commerce managers of AASA
member companies, for a tool to facilitate e-commerce among
automotive aftermarket trading partners. (read

Rebate Management - Tackling a 400 Pound Gorilla
This is the first

an essential element of any Product Information Management (PIM)

For
years now, manufacturers have used rebate, in one form or another,
as an incentive to drive sales. The simplest form of rebate –
rebate coupons – has been prevalent for more than a century as the
primary incentive to entice the consumer to try or buy a
manufacturer’s products. Coupons now often take the form of a
discount on the point of sale price. But rebates are a little more
complex; they are generally offered by the manufacturer as a refund

Presentation of ‘Print-on-Demand’ Catalogs for Customers at AAPEX
Mahle Clevite
Inc., announced today that it will demonstrate its new
“Print-on-Demand” capabilities at its booths at the upcoming AAPEX
shows in Las Vegas, part of Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW).
“Our project to
consolidate our internal product information and automate its
publication to our customers is proceeding very smoothly – in fact,
faster than we had originally expected,” says Mahle Clevite
marketing head, Jesse Jones.

implement its AutoPIM Proä
