pdxMX is a web-based catalog management application that enables self-serve or collaborative management of product information, images, costs and pricing. Suppliers, OEMs and internal users can easily exchange catalog information and quickly build and maintain product catalogs containing procurement codes, classifications, image libraries, long and short descriptions, cost and pricing information, specifications and other transaction-pertinent content. Catalog data can be easily imported from ERP systems, or any number of standard or proprietary data formats. An automatic data cleansing utility checks and validates missing or duplicate data and provides summary reporting for action, including 'suggested' modifications. Products are easily classified using 'smart classification', and descriptions normalized for optimal searching using standards libraries. A preview utility lets you see the final product before it is published, and workflow rules permit the staging and negotiation of new product introductions and pricing changes. The 'one to many' features of PDM Builder enables rapid catalog syndication in all e-Commerce XML standards, as well as custom catalog definitions, in a fraction of the time and cost of other content factories or content aggregation services.
